Although I can finish most Tony Hillerman novels in just a few hours, I thoroughly enjoy him, the reason being, he researches his material.

That isn't an easy task as he is caucasian and his subjects typically are Native American Navajo.

I'm around 3/4 Native American Cherokee so almost anything Native American will appeal to me.

His stories to me are well thought out and aren't far-fetched like some authors try to be.

Before my divorce, this was another series that I did have every single novel in print that was out there.
