Had to read this book for my english class lately as we where studying writers from the Victorian period.
Jane Eyre is Charlotte Brontė's best book, a romance filled with interesting twists and surprises. By reading the book, the reader may watch a small girl grow and mature into a grown woman will being able to experience all the joys and pains of her life. Many people state that it shows some of the early roots of women's liberalism.

I did quite enjoy the book and had to finish it in one night, even when I don't generally like to do that. The twists are quite fascinating and left me full of suspense. Actually have read the book twice now. And now that I have read it for the second time, I get to see a lot more allusions and connection throughout the book. Just astounding at the parallels in the book.

overall, great read and a definite recommendation for a rainy day.
