i've read some of his xanth and adept series, preferring adept.

he has an interesting mind and explores regions other writers won't venture into.

i read them too long ago to write a comprehensive critique, except to say that they were an interesting and at times tedious read.

I have read a few Piers Anthony books, most memorably one from the Tarot trilogy.

Piers Anthony is an author I have quite a bit of respect for.
